just wondering what the fricken frack is going on!?! it's just past noon today and I've already had TWO no call/no shows. is anyone else having a crazy cancellation week?
just an interesting bit of info, in case you didn't know, it is currently a full moon, and the 2nd full moon this month - making it a "blue" moon. I guess I can take comfort in knowing that I only get 2 no shows on the same day once in a blue moon. hehe t043

Hehe it totally is. I should have figured that. Take comfort in the fact that you're not alone; just today we got a chargeback on a CC and I probably unintentionally pissed off a board member or 2! Hang in there!

Yeah, today was strange. I went from having only one appointment today, one 15 minute chair session, who cancelled yesterday around 2pm. Then, after she called two people called for appointments this afternoon, and this morning two more people called for appointments this afternoon. I was able book them all for today. Usually I am either booked or my openings dont suit the client. This whole week has been like that though. Two weeks ago I only had about 7 appointments booked for this week, by the end of tomarrow I will have seen 20 clients for the week. Next week is already full, not a single opening. Funny how things work.

It was a good thing I had a few openings today. I was able to get a new client in who wants to come in weekly. She told me she had been calling around and I was the only one who she found open today.

I'm glad to hear it is not just me having a whacky day!
After my first post, my last client today - who I thought was getting a stone massage - wanted a REGULAR massage. so 2 no shows, and 1 entire setup/cleanup for a nonexistent stone massage. :shock:

I KNEW something was different this week! I went from my normal 1-4 massages/week to eleven! While I love it, for a girl who works 50 hours a week at a stressful/busy day job before going to do massage, I have come home every night around 10:00 and barely had the energy to eat before crawling into bed. People just keep calling and calling... and I'm not complaining, but wow is it wearing me out!

I'm so sorry to hear of all the cancellations. Let's hope that streak ends soon!
