I think this is a very interesting thread about peoples thoughts about los , and life back at home , i think we all know LOS is damn expensive and we work damn hard to party hard when we are out there(I know i do).

The funny thing is many of these girls have the attitude that beacuse we spend so much money , ohh u can just go ATM!!!, ohh dont worry when you on holiday you mutt not think about money !!! blah blah

anyway back on track, i think if you do go out to LOS a lot you do have to sacrafice your life back home to a degree, i personally , am careful with money but when i have a good excuse to party i freak out and i enjoy it, living in London things are damn expensive and i do find myself doing price comparisons of LOS And London, anyone whos been to london knows that stupid....

But i find when i go to LOS i udually spend a shit load of money and have massive credit card bills too, right now ive got 2k bill from flights etc , so i personally do suffer after my trips for a bit and have to budget it a bit.

Initially , when i first came to LOS i used to think that my life at home was over , i didnt care to much about women etc, but now ive wised up i fall into the above mentioned bracket , but now i use my new found confidence to attract hot girls and just go talk to them , i feel if they reject me who cares , what have i lost ???? nothing

Doing this means has led to 2 intresting prospects this weekend, one with a chinese exchange student , whos throwing a house party in London on saturday ,(wont lead to anything but cant harm anything), and the second is a Hot south korean girl i met in hotel , ill be meeting on sunday hopefully, I love the fact that i meeting girls who are educated , and beautiful just my type .

weekend drinking at home is nothing compared to a night in los, i find myself stayin in most weekends when saving for los, my mates cant understand and think that i am too sensible, not going out every weekend but it is hard to explain to someone who has never experienced the virtues of los, their loss not mine.

well actually i went down that path for 4 years.different story anyway. had just broken up and los had all the right cards to play with, and overcome a few things. prices comparation also got my attention and did the trick. never felt as finished , on the contrary, life was just having a re-start. as for social life, I never lost mine eventhough it is not so exciting due to the place I live in. i got my share of los blues, soon overcome by the common-sense of life,
as of december 2004 let alone the one in 2007, i have been taking this los feeling with a grain of salt, hence the fact that I almost gave up doing back and fourth.:love3:

That's what i say to my mate's when they call me for a drink. Why would i go out and spend $100 dollarrs just for drinks in Oz .When i can get a beautiful girl for the night ,get drunk , have a nice thai feed and have a great night for less than that.My mates who have been to LOS agree the ones who hav'nt don't agree. I must agree 100% with my Brisbane friend here. I spend about the same time in LoS (17%) and I'll be buggered if I'm going to have a miserable time for the other 83%! Granted, my GF is here for 5 months a year but even when she isn't here I'm not a hermit.

Going out tonight with a HK lady, but no boom boom. Must save myself for touchdown in Phuket in 3 days and 5 hours ...

to be honest i will be back next april.woulda been there in october but too much work.but i was like you addicted.i did get screwed over but thats life and i was stupid enuff to fall for it.even after all the horror stories i heard.my advice.keep going,enjoy it and dont fall for no of them.thats what i will be doing from now on.roll on april.:intello:

its a dangerous game halley , im 2 year younger than u and its easy to get complacent thinking u can go to LOS and find a girl but , trust me use your confidence from los and approach asian chicks about, i did, and im meeting a HOT south korean girl, educated and all 2morrow for lunch

bar girls are ok for fun but for me i dont think it could go any further
