Drove by Miracle the other day and was tempted to stop in unannounced but passed until I did a bit of research. I have have very mixed results in past year from 100% legit to . Has anyone been there lately? Tokyo is only a block away but has gone to be so very corporate and not just the same vibe anymore.

That used to be AM spa back in the day and produced legends like Mandy ( now Lara at GE) and many more . Haven't been to that basement in years now .

Stopped in there a couple months ago. One girl working. Bit of an auntie but good technique and I left happy. Kind of the archetype of the Asian semi-legit massage experience in Edmonton: not bad, not amazing but worth a return trip if the location is convenient to you.

I was there a few weeks ago. Good massage, good ending. Older auntie pushing on great auntie.

I go every once in awhile. More or less always aunties with decent massage skills and decent finishing skills.

Stopped in recently and the usual auntie was there, but also a (comparatively) younger girl named... Cassie? Casey? Something like that. Massage wasn't bad: I was feeling tight and beat up from hockey and though she didn't really have the strength to get deep into the knots or a lot of technique, I found myself walking out with most of my issues and tightness considerably better so I guess she did something right.

I always enjoy when the tease starts early and feels almost accidental ('oops my hand brushed against it' a few times kind of thing) so if feels a bit more like a flirtation and a slow natural build to the happy ending rather than simply a mechanical 'switching gears' late in the massage, and Cassie didn't disappoint. A little on the heavy side but pretty face, great breasts, and a great disposition.

Anyway, not someone you'd cross the city for but as she's conveniently located for me, worth a visit.

I just had to see Annie again so I made an appt.
For those who have never been there- let me paint a picture- As you can see from online pics, it's right on busy 118 Ave on the intersection with a back alley in a sketchy neighbourhood. So I wouldn't go there at night and if you are worried about somebody seeing your vehicle parked outside- give it some thought. There's not much nearby alternative parking.

You enter onto the landing of stairs that lead to the basement. The place is showing it's age (at least 50yrs.) but still clean and well maintained. I had to ring a door bell but I think it is just security when the girls are all busy or only one girl is on duty as the door was open when I left. You enter the reception area with a washroom off to the right. There's a hallway that loops around from the right- around back to the left side. There are about 5 treatment rooms and a washroom with a shower. The shower is pretty decrepit with cracks here and there.

Annie greeted me and showed me to a room. I found the place very warm. Annie's in her fifties but very fit- only about 5'4" and 100lb. You'll know her by the mole on her right eyebrow. English is limited- typical for most Chinese her age, but very friendly and accommodating.

Annie can deliver a strong massage if you ask. She likes to use generous amounts of oil. No matter how weak or strong of a massage you ask for, she's always "The queen of the tease". By the end of the massage we were both sweating- mostly from the heat. She eased the tension in all my muscles . I wrapped a towel around myself and did 'the walk of shame" as she led me to the shower all the way to the other side of the shop. (Cameras everywhere!) There was no 'dickering' as the damages were laid out at $140 unless you want to pay more.
