Muse Finally Waves the White Flag on Vaughan and Contracts to One Location

After many years on life support and comically anemic scheduling consisting of two, one or no girls at all per shift, Muse has finally pulled the plug on Muse Vaughan and has downsized to one location. Apparently they've sold that location and all Vaughan girls will be transferred back to their original Finch locale in North York.

Given the annoying moral and intellectual superiority they have often posted with over the years there is some schadenfreude in not seeing that hubris translate to overwhelming business success, although I'm sure they'd be the first to tell you it's everyone's fault but theirs.

The location of the spa had a lot of issues. Convoluted to get to, parking was a challenge and the industrial plaza it was in was super sketchy.

lol ok ok .The Quantity of girls at sunshine makes them better. It's definitely a ghetto spa but you can usually find 1-2 solid choices at any given time. The prices are cheaper and the girls are much more open minded. At Muse they try to control the girls too much, pricing has gotten ridiculous . And the girls on schedule are never really there.

So one location closed, new rate increase at the lone remaining shop, and still proudly promoting themselves as the only non-FS spa in the GTA!

But they're definitely not the only non-FS spa in the GTA, and arguably not even a non-FS spa!

I can see how they feel their higher rates will help them with their pitch to acquire better talent: "we give you more and you can put out less!"

But I guess whether it actually translates to more $ in practice ultimately depends on client demand and foot traffic.

So overall it seems like a somewhat quixotic business approach in this day and age, but I guess we'll see what happens next...

I agree that the Vaughan location was horrible with all the derelict cars scattered all over the place.
But the spa was quite nice inside... pity.

I don't recall them getting into that level of detail in the video but I must admit I've already half forgotten lol.

I only remember whatever they did with the Vaughan location it was a really awesome great thing.

I'm guessing they sold the business and maybe it's still operating as a spa under new ownership... seems to be a lot of that happening these days!

The last few weeks at Seductions and Premier have been giving me vibes that the economy is heading for recession as customers are cutting back visits. My prediction is if the economy does enter a recession Muse will close and Seductions will go from the current three locations to just Airport and Elevate.

Well, commercial lease prices are starting to drop, so recession or not, they chose the right time to sell. They held that property through some crazy years for real estate, so I get why they're happy.
