And if you work for a supplier, you are going to give them price breaks on everything you sell them, right?
Plus I assume you are already planning how you will recover and live within your reduced pay? You are going to accept a pay cut when you go back to work I assume, seeing as you are an advocate of the practice.
Personally, I would expect fair prices...Not inflated and not necessarily discounted. It mostly depends on how competitive they feel the need to be

Not going to happen. In fact rates are pretty much guaranteed to go UP. Many businesses- not just massage- that were struggling to survive will just close for good. Leaving a whole bunch of guys looking for someplace to spend their money. Reduced supply+ increased demand= higher prices!

To play devils advocate, they may stay the same. You also might see more home providers from those out of work looking to make a buck or two.
And of the fallen, where would the non owners go? They may end up in survivor spas or starting there own.
What ever happens, high priced or not, I’m excited to get back in the swing.

When things return to normal, I am making a change in terms of the ethnicity of girls I book.

Before Covid, I booked Asians, almost exclusively.

So, it is a sliver of good news with the announcement of easing restrictions. Phase 1, which doesn't include massages to begin May 14th. I'm guessing (hoping) the next logical step would be June 1for the implementing of Phase 2 which includes massages. But I'm sure it will be with strong restrictions, i.e. masks and other hygenic precautions. What the heck- my last visit with Wendy at XP was with a mask but at least I got a massage! Is it too early to book an appointment???

Interesting that you should mention Kelly, as I was thinking about her a while ago. I used to see her every so often, especially since she's usually always available. She is someone I see when I go to see someone new, and they flake out. So I'm stoked for a massage, and have been doused with cold water. Phone Kelly, and she'll usually say "come over now". Anyway, I find her to be kind and quiet, and always good value. I know she was involved in some dramas in the past, but I'm sure those situations were the result of disrespectful clients.
