Three teenagers and a 19-year-old man have been arrested and three more are at large in connection with a series of spa robberies in Markham and Toronto, one of which was captured on security camera.

And 5 smaller 2 girl spas in the last 2 weeks , they just don’t report to police , but it’s not safe especially with promoters giving out all the information needed to pick the spas worth knocking off

They were working, you figure all the information these assholes give out , who , where , how much . Every spa is vulnerable and it won’t stop at the spas , i.Ds are also stolen..high end cars are stolen … reputable advisors , WTF

People who do this shit don't plan on getting caught, so "tougher laws" likely wouldn't be much of a deterrent. Besides, even with the current laws, convictions and the sentences are often mild, and the bad guys are let out of jail way too soon.

MPs would be easy targets, and could potentially have a decent chunk of cash on hand but I doubt much remains on site at close of business, or if it does, it's in a legit safe.

Agreed, it's a lesser charge when breaking in and just robbing. What sucks though since some places stay late, forcing someone who knows the combination to open the safe is another threat to we'd all like to avoid

Spa technically 24 hours I heard at least 1 girl sleeps over there to accommodate customer at all time, but most stay late they work till like 2 am. More than likely girls were there, this is honey spa for sure.

I agree, the criminals aren’t planning to get caught, but I think stiffer penalties will make them think twice before robbing a MP, carjacking, car theft etc.

Breaking into a MP after hours is one thing. I feel bad for the girls who are still on duty who are being robbed at gun point, very traumatic experience.
