B.J. Bars in BKK and Pattaya

I've heard about but don't even know where they are bars where you get the old knob polished while you are purched on a stool!
Any of you BKK vets know about this action?

Mlay, thanks for the info....I don't know shite about Clinton or Askoke.....I did lunch at the Dubliner Suk/Soi22 but have only seen the other two from the BTS during the Day time....
I really haven't been off the ground floor at Nana...Do that have such place there?

Casanova and Obsession are Lady Boy Go Go Bar and they will take a lil stroll to the S.T. Rooms in Taboo! I read the post to say they are all on the same floor.....

I'm not sure where the rooms are, they are not obvious.

Some of them are frightening in Casanova. Just so tall and with the heels as well. This has the reputation for being the pre-op area os Bangkok. Post op is more in Patpong.

I have been lucky/unfortunate enough to have been in the Devils Den (patpong) twice. I hated it first time. I still wasnt very comfortable second time, but I did have a bit of fun.

It was my last night in Thailand, and I had an early-ish flight back to UK (about 11am). This meant I was taking a risk to fly from Phuket early in the morning, so I decided to stay in Bangkok for my last night and get a taxi to the airport in the morning.

I had very little Thai money left (about 2,000 baht) and no viagra.
I went to a bar about half way down Patpong and there was a live band playing. I am a musician myself, and this band was quite good. I pulled up a chair and started to watch and listen. I had just done a 3 week tour and was sick of "whats your name, where you from", so I just ignored the bar girls. This made them more intent to make contact.
I ignored them no matter what they did, and then one girl genuinely came across and asked if I would like something to eat. I said no thanks and she left. A little bit later I bought her a drink, because she was the only one who hadnt hassled me. We started talking, and I told her that i just wanted to watch the band, and I liked ladyboys anyway. After I told her I liked ladyboys, she said "Oh there is a ladyboy go-go bar just 20 metres across from here!!!" She said she would take me. I told her I just wanted to have one drink and a little look, but I would be back to watch the band. "Yeah, yeah" she said. "You not come back".

Anyway, she took me by the hand and walked me into ladyboy heaven. She sat me down at a table and went back to her bar. Within 2 minutes there were 2 REALLY beautiful ladyboys in bikinis sitting on my knee. Boy did I want to take them to my room, but, I didnt have the money or the viagra to make it worth while. I stayed there about 20 minutes, bought them a drink and went back to the other bar.

If I went back to Patpong I would have to go back to the ladyboy go-go bar, but I am still very very weary of Bangkok, even though I have been to Thailand numerous times. These buggers in Bangkok are slick operators. They have seen it all and done it all and they seem 'hardened' by it .
Patong is a lot nicer.
