I'm 19 this year and I went for a full body massage therapy for the first time.

Overall the therapy was very good and relaxing, but I'm concerned about what happened during the therapy.

The female therapist brought me to a dimly lit room. I was told to tie my hair and remove all my clothes and lie on the bed. So she left the room and I start to undress. As its my first experience, I stripped off everything but kept my panties on.

However, she came in and told me to take off my panties. I was reluctant initially as I'm too shy to expose my privates. In the end, I was convinced by the therapist to remove my panties to enjoy the therapy fully.

During the 1 hour therapy, I was totally naked lying on bed with only 2 small towels covering my breasts and privates.

When the therapist was applying oil on my thighs, she took away the towel. She was constantly staring at my privates, I was feeling embarrassed. Perhaps I didn't shave my pubic hair?


Overall it was a pleasurable and relaxing, I felt a little disturbed by the fact that I was 'forced' to remove my panties, the therapist looking at my privates constantly.

It was my first experience, wonder anyone else had this experience?

It's a reputable and famous massage centre with many branches.

Yes, you are supposed to be fully nude during the massage... and it's important for the massage therapist to encourage you to remove them (after all, if they accidently get oil or lotion on them, you don't want to wear wet panties and they certainly don't want to be responsible if they stained them.

However, any area not being worked on at that time should be covered. For example, when they are working on your legs, your arms should be fully covered.

Perhaps it was your imagination that lead you to believe she was staring at your privates, but to be honest, they see hundreds of bodies every year in every shape and size. Massage therapists are also trained on what to do to handle it when a girl is on their period, so trust me, they probably weren't that interested

I have had swedish massages before, nude and with briefs on. Nothing should ever be uncoverend that isn't being worked on. I just got over it really, but if its too much for you request they let you keep something on.

it is normal for the towel to be removed but if you are uncomfortable with that massager ask for someone different next time.

for a relax massage, you should be in full nude because nude itself is relaxation. forget about your shyness and relax. Just let it be.

Relaxation is the goal. Close your eyes, listen to the music and enjoy the feeling of your muscles being pampered. Having a massage by a professional should evoke a feeling of total relaxation. Like Doctors, they see so many bodies, the last thing on their minds will be doing anything that could cause their job to be at risk. Most are watching the area they are working. Many even have their eyes closed as they have done the routine so many times they are just feeling for problem areas. Knots, hernias, hot areas that could be bruised or injured, etc. As every massage pro has their own style and touch, many spas require they do a planned sequence with towel placement and oil use following a uniform plan so every client receives a massage that can be replicated. You must ask to alter the planned routine if you have specific areas you want worked. Enjoy and relax, shaved legs or not.
