It must be an awesome task for the administration to keep control of us unruly naughty boys. Seriously, you have to rule with an iron fist, if you want to run a website like this. No seriously. We're like a classroom of exceptionally naughty boys, and we need to be disciplined.

Hi casper69 - please check the update folder Raven has answered your question. Sometimes WE (meaning myself, Raven and Oneat) are just NOT at liberty to say. There is always a reason why posts are removed – trust me on that one. Honestly if I have the heads up as to what can be said and that it can be said for/of a ladies departure or what she is doing or when/if she is coming back then I will say it – simple.
Sometimes though you have to remember we are under strict guidelines (and a Ladies private life is our first priority) of what we can say and cannot say on behalf of a Ladies departure or pending return. Nothing untoward goes on just a Ladies private life and her reasons for moving on or returning must and will be kept confidential and private – sometimes at their request - sometimes at my perception…..

Popeye - you really are a pain sometimes - honest to goodness - if you want to shit stir then find another forum! I have said it once, twice, ten times – if you don’t like the way we run the place then leave. While I am on the topic of the forums I would really like to say thanks to Raven and Oneat they do keep this place under control and for that myself and the Ladies (and hopefully most members) are truly thankful!

There's probably an argument to make the PM system active again. That way if a member's post and/or topic is removed the mod/admin responsible for removing it can send a quick PM to that member informing them that a post/topic has been removed and the reason why. It would go a way to eliminating topics that keep getting reposted by members because they are unaware why it keeps disappearing. As for abuse of the PM system well that is pretty simple to control as well. If the mods/admin were to receive complaints of a member spamming or generally harassing other members or the AB babes themselves then that member has his or her PM privileges revoked.

Just a thought.

Just removing a post is shit - mpter all I only asked a question which was not offensive - just curious.

If on a forum such as this a simple question can't be asked then what is the purpose of the forum.

I never enquired or sort intrusion into anyone's private life.

Perhaps it would have been simpler for the moderators just to say ....that's private we will let you know and that would have been the end of it.

If you feel that such a simple question is breaking your rules then let me know and take me of the forum.

So far, I've only had one of my posts removed. No explanation was given. I sent a message to the moderators to ask them why (politely) but never received a reply. I can probably guess the reason why this particular post was removed, but am not really sure.

I have no argument with the moderators removing posts they deem to be inappropriate, but I think when they do so that they should at least send a private message to the person who made the post stating the reason for removal. That would just be basic common courtesy.

Its one of the reasons why I don't interact much with this site anymore. Its Nikkis site and she can run it how she likes but in the end there are always some disadvaneforum.xxxes to how you run things.

Shit. I get edited al the time but I probably deserve it. I'm a bit more verbose than most. It doesn't bother me at all. Sometimes I'm glad. I never question the actions of the mods nor require any explanations. Perhaps the PM's aren't a bad idea but I think that would eat up a lot of valuable time in a Mod's life. Let's just accept that it's a difficult job and accept their decisions as the management of a major website.

They have beautiful ladies to protect, hijackers to control, topics to keep in focus and US to contend with. They manage to keep this forum run in a respectful manner with a Reviewiendly overtone. Bullies aren't tolerated and offensive posts are taken down quick smart.

Sometimes it would be difficult to draw that line, given the vast interpretation of the written word, and I would imagine they would err to the side of caution in those instances.

It seems it's not just me who struggles to come to terms with why seemingly inoffensive posts are removed. Is there a higher power than Nikki, Raven and Oneat :?:

Nikki has often said this is a wl-based site and has said she has considered abandoning the forum side. So the question arises, why not? It would save all that moderator effort
