Salt Baths to Clear Energy?

Salt water is excellent for clearing old and yucky energy. It also helps to recharge the item in question. When I was in Pueto Rico I met a young lady in a shop who frequently washed her crystals in the ocean. The salt is purifying to not only the energy field but also to the physical body of what you are clearing itself. That includes animate and inanimate objects. Remember how you wash out your mouth with salt water when you have a canker sore?

There are other ways of clearing and recharging energies, such as full moon light, laying on the ground itself for a period of time, or burying the object in the earth over night, especially on a full moon.

I use Epsom salts in a bath for other reasons and find that it has an energy-balancing effect (even though it's a magnesium salt rather than a sodium one). Accidental discovery, probably known by many before I figured it out!

Salt baths are the best for clearing out your energy. I highly recommend them! On the days I massage I take one every night before bed just to clear my personal energy and anything I may have brought home with me.

My Reiki Master is big into crystals and quite the rock hound. I discussed using crystals during a Reiki treatment with her once and she also mentioned "cleaning" her crystals with salt and setting them out in the full moon before re-using them.

I personally make my own salts, including Reiki salts and I use dead sea salts if I can get my hands on it, otherwise I'll use the Epsom. When I use it as a scrub however (stretch marks) I personally need to use the smaller grain stuff.
